Warriors Fall to Desert, Long Beach City on Friday
TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a pair of South Coast Conference losses to College of the Desert and Long Beach City on Friday afternoon at the ECC Sand Courts.
In the opening match of the day, the Warriors fell 4-1 to the Roadrunners. Arden Templeton and Yasmine Itani won their match on court five for the lone Warriors point in the match.
The Warriors concluded the day with a 5-0 loss to Long Beach City. Templeton and Itani came close to securing another point for the Warriors on court five but the LBCC pair of Camile Argupis and Desiree Iosua overcame two match points in the second set and forced a deciding third frame where they would down the Warriors' duo.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday, April 3 when they host Rio Hondo at 10 a.m.
