TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College erupted offensively in a 14-0 South Coast Conference win over L.A. Harbor on Tuesday at Warrior Field.
The Warriors pounded out 12 hits, half of them for extra bases as three players homered and six different Warriors recorded an RBI.
Nathan Rivera, Caden Lewis and Dane Rhodes all hit two-run home runs on Tuesday with Rhodes driving in four runs to lead the team. He finished 2-for-3 with a double, home run and two runs scored along with the four RBIs.
Five different players recorded multiple RBIs while Cameron O'Neill picked up the win on the mound, going six shutout innings while scattering five hits and striking out three. Matthew Krause tossed two innings of scoreless relief with two strikeouts and Anthony Solis sealed the shutout with a scoreless ninth.
Tuesday's win marked the ninth time the Warriors scored in double figures and improved to 9-0 on those occasions.
The teams will return to Warrior Field on Thursday for game two of the series with first pitch set for 2 p.m.
