Clark Earns Player of the Week Honors

SCFA Week 8 Players of the Week 

Wide Receiver Trevon Clark was named as one of the Southern California Football Association National Central Conference Co-Offensive Players of the Week, it was announced Tuesday.

Trevon Clark had a huge game in the 45-41 win over Mt. Sac.   He had more than half of the receiving yards for the team and led the Warriors with 205 receiving yards on 8 catches.  He accounted for three different scoring touchdowns on plays of 26 yards, 59 yards, and a game winning 74 yards.  He averaged 25.6 yards per reception.

So far in seven games played this season, Clark leads the team with 37 receptions and 733 yards.  He is currently fourth in the state with over 104.7 yards per game and he averages 19.8 yards per reception.  He leads the team with nine receiving touchdowns.  He has also thrown a perfect 2-2 passes with two touchdowns for 25 yards.  He is tied for second in the state in receiving touchdowns (9) with Javian Lofton-Wilson of Chaffey College and one behind the state leaders (10). 

This week, the Warriors return home to face Palomar College. In last season's matchup against Palomar, Clark had 4 receptions for 94 yards and two touchdowns.   Kick-off for saturday's game is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
