Warriors Overcome Early Deficit to Beat San Diego Mesa

SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- No. 10 El Camino College stayed undefeated in National Southern League play with a 28-14 road win at San Diego Mesa on Thursday night.

The Warriors fell behind 14-0 in the second quarter but scored 28 unanswered points to score the crucial road victory.

Andrew Maushardt had the best game of his Warriors' career as he went 16-for-26 for a career-high 293 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Running back Jaden Moore rushed for a game-high 128 yards on 21 carries for one touchdown and Brandon Jones reeled in eight catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns.

The Warriors will return home on Saturday, Oct. 18 to face Palomar for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
