El Camino College Athletics to Add Women's Flag Football in 2025-26

WOMEN"S FLAG FOOTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETE INTEREST FORM

TORRANCE, Calif. --- The El Camino College Athletics Department will introduce women's flag football club team beginning in the spring of 2026.

The search for a head coach to lead the new team will be coming soon. This individual will be tasked with building a competitive program to represent the ECC Warriors proudly, both on the field and in the classroom.

The team will begin as a club program in 2026 with the intention to become the 19th athletics program at ECC. The last time this happened at ECC was when the beach volleyball program started as a club team before becoming a full-fledged program and one of the most successful in the state.

In preparation for the spring season, ECC Athletics is gauging interest from potential student-athletes to participate in the inaugural flag football season. Those interested in participating can fill out the Flag Football Interest Form.
