TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered its seventh straight loss with a 106-104 South Coast Conference defeat to Long Beach City on Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
Kai Johnson led the Warriors with 29 points, his sixth 20-plus point performance this season and fourth in the last five games. Johnson also added six rebounds. Aaron Cortes scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench with Isaiah Lightfoot scoring 16 points. Jedaiah Mortimer added 15 points with Jackson Bell scoring 11 and Daxen Walton scoring 10.
The Vikings had three players score 20-plus with five total players reaching double figures. Major Hurley led the way with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
The Warriors will return to action on Wednesday night when they host L.A. Southwest.
