Torrance, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors men's soccer team fell 2-0 at home on Friday afternoon at the Warrior Soccer Field.
The loss ended a seven-game unbeaten stretch where the Warriors went 4-0-3. The Warriors fell to 5-2-3 overall for the season.
The Wolverines were all over the Warriors in the first half and had a 10-2 shot advantage. In stoppage time, the Wolverines scored to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
The Wolverines had the first couple shots in the second half and added their second goal in the 58th minute.
The Warriors outshot the Wolverines 9-to-8 in the second with eight of those shots during the final 30 minutes. However, they couldn't break through the SBV defense.
Oswaldo Hernandez made four saves in goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors wrap up non-conference play next Tuesday against Antelope Valley at home. Kick-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
