TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 3-0 (27-25, 25-14, 25-21) loss to Moorpark on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors posted a negative attack percentage as they committed 28 attack errors with 26 kills total. Jordan Jotie led the team with 12 kills and Nazareth Iosia added seven with two blocks. Iosia was one of two players to post a positive attack percentage (.143) along with Chris Morris who had three kills with one error on 11 swings.
The Warriors also had eight service errors and four receiving errors on the night as the Raiders pulled away after a tightly contested opening set.
Owen Peterson led the Raiders with 16 kills on 29 attempts with a .448 attack percentage and Oliver Boton dished out 25 assists in the victory.
The Warriors will look to regroup on Friday night as they host L.A. Pierce for a 6 p.m. first serve.
