Bio

Casey Wood was hired as the new head coach of the El Camino College men's volleyball program in August 2023.

He completed his first season at the helm in 2024 where the Warriors went 4-14 overall with a 3-9 conference record.

Wood played two seasons at El Camino College. In 2015, he was second on the team with 231 kills and helped lead the Warriors to the CCCAA Men's Volleyball State Championship match for the first time since 1983. He led the team with 15 kills in the match in a losing effort. In two years at ECC, Wood tallied 295 kills in 32 matches and 106 sets played. He was named to the All-Western State Conference First Team in his sophomore season. 

Wood would go on to transfer to Missouri Valley College of the NAIA to continue his athletic career. He would tally a total of 519 career kills in 51 matches and 186 sets played. He was named to the Heart of America All-Conference First Team as a senior after posting 303 kills with a .962 attack percentage.
