TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 19-9 South Coast Conference loss to No. 5 Mount San Antonio on Wednesday afternoon at the ECC Aquatics Center.
The Warriors hung in early with the No. 5 Mounties as the teams were tied 4-4 after the first quarter. But the Mounties scored the first four goals of the second quarter and continued to pull away from there to earn the victory.
Zane Johnson led the Warriors with three goals on five shots and added one assist in the loss. Alex Bugarin and Robbie Josic scored twice and Cooper Josic dished out four assists in the losing effort.
The Warriors will head to the Golden West/Orange Coast College Tournament on Friday to take on Cuesta on Friday. The match will start at 10:20 a.m. and then the Warriors will play another match later in the day depending on the result.
