TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dominated Santiago Canyon 14-0 in a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Softball Field.
The Warriors had nine hits and scored eight times in the fourth inning to put the game away as Warriors pitchers combined for a shutout on Tuesday.
Melissa Terrazas was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIS with Emily Gamboa, Bryanna Morales, and Emma Padilla also drove in two runs.
With the win, the Warriors improve to 3-0 on the season and have outscored their opponents 33-7 with two shutouts. The team is currently hitting .411 as a team with 39 hits in three games. They've also drawn seven walks and only struck out twice in 95 total at-bats.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday with another home game against Golden West. First pitch is set for 1:30 p.m.
