NORWALK, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped its fourth straight game on Friday afternoon with a 6-5 walk-off South Coast Conference loss to Cerritos at Cerritos College.

The Warriors jumped out to a 4-0 lead after their first two at-bats but it would not be enough. The Falcons scored two in the fifth and then three in the bottom of the seventh to walk-off the Warriors and send ECC to its first four-game losing streak since April 14-19, 2022 when the team finished the season 21-21 overall.

On Friday, Sophia Munguia went 4-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI while Kate Pedroza was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Emma Padilla also had a two-hit game while Emily Gamboa and Gabby Merced each drove in one run.

Kamaile Ho took the loss in relief in the seventh as she allowed the game-winning two-run single with the bases loaded and one out.

The Warriors will look to regroup on Tuesday when they host Long Beach at the ECC Softball Field. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
