Warriors Split Meet at Mount San Antonio

WALNUT, Calif. --- El Camino College split its tri-meet against Mount San Antonio and Pasadena on Friday at Mt. SAC.

MEN

Warriors 163, Pasadena 101

The Warriors downed the Lancers with superior perfomances in the majority of events including 200 medley relay, 100 individual medley, and 200 free. Koichiro Ambe's time of 57.43 in the 100 IM and Gio Wheeler's 54.62 in the 100 Fly were highlights in the win.

Mt. SAC 238, Warriors 58

The Warriors fell to the Mounties but Alex Thornton provided the highlight for ECC with a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:11.44.

WOMEN

Warriors 218, Pasadena 14

The Warriors dominated the Lancers to claim the victory, posting superior times than the Lancers in every event.

Mt. SAC 197, Warriors 75

The Warriors fell to the Mounties but Jasmine Eskander's top time of 11:26.17 in the 1000 free gave the Warriors their lone first-place finish of the meet against the Mounties.

The Warriors will now head to the Cuesta Sprint Meet on Thursday and Friday for their next competition.
