Warriors Wrap Season at State Championships
LONG BEACH, Calif. --- El Camino College wrapped up the 2026 season at the 3C2A State Championships hosted by Long Beach City College.
The Warriors finished 15th in both the men's and women's competition. Long Beach City claimed the women's title while Mt. San Antonio and Sierra College finished as co-state championshiops, the first time that a tie has ever happened at the state meet.
On the women's side, Olivia Mozian was the top swimmer for the Warriors. She finished fourth in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:06.21 and added a fifth place finish in the 500 free with a mark of 5:11.86, which was also the fourth best time in ECC history.
Teammate Jasmine Eskander also grabbed a top-five finish in the 500 free, posting a time of 18:12.54 which ranks as the ninth best time in ECC history.
On the men's side, Alex Thornton was the team's top swimmer as he logged top-10 finishes in the 100 breast (7th, 57.33) and 100 fly (10th, 50.70).
