LONG BEACH, Calif. - The El Camino College women's basketball finished the 2019-20 season with a 57-33 loss against Long Beach City College at the Hall of Champions on Friday evening.
The Warriors (12-15, 7-3) had won the three previous South Coast Conference titles in a row. The Vikings (20-8, 10-0) won their first conference title since 2017.
The Warriors led after the first quarter by a score of 14-to-12. But they were outscored 45-to-19 for the three remaining quarters.
Taylor Hart led the Warriors with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Isabel Lizarraga led the Vikings and all scorers with 17 points.
The Warriors shot a woeful 17.2% (10-for-58) for the game. They held the Vikings to 32.4% (22-for-68) shooting for the game.
