TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 55-43 non-conference loss to visiting Fullerton College on Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors got 16 points from Bella Blum along with eight rebounds while Sammy Moore led the way on the glass with 10 rebounds. Presley Tanaka dished out three assists to lead the team.
For the Hornets, Erin Choi and Jimena Solorio tied for the team lead with 10 points and Hailey Lakey hauled in 15 rebounds including eight on the offensive end.
Both offenses struggled on the night as both teams shot below 30 percent from the field but the turnovers proved to be the difference as the Warriors coughed it up 32 times on the night, leading to 28 points for the Hornets.
The Warriors also missed eight free throws on the night as well but ECC did win the rebounding battle with a 57-43 advantage.
The Warriors will return to action on the road on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at L.A. Trade Tech.
