Women’s Basketball Drops Pair of Road Games

El Camino College traveled to Fullerton and San Diego Mesa this week and suffered a pair of non-conference losses.
FULLERTON 47, WARRIORS 38
The Warriors led after one quarter but lost the next three to suffer their second loss of the season on Wednesday. Leah Richards led the way with 11 points, seven rebounds and five steals with Christiauna Taylor adding nine points, eight boards and three assists.
Hailey Lakey led all scorers with 18 points for Fullerton in the win.
SAN DIEGO MESA 80, WARRIORS 52
The Warriors scored a season high in points but also surrendered a season high to their opponent on Thursday night.
Taylor logged her first career 20-point game as she hit it right on the number on 8-for-16 shooting. She also added two steals but unfortunately was the only Warriors player to reach double figures. Maya Kelley added nine points and five rebounds while Jackie King dished out a team-high six assists in the loss.
The Warriors will remain on the road for their next game as they take on San Diego City on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
