Fulton's Goal Secures Tie at San Bernardino Valley

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. --- Freshman Lily Fulton scored in the closing minutes to help El Camino College secure a 1-1 draw at San Bernardino Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
Fulton scored off an assist from Ashley Perez to level the match in the 89th minute. The Wolverines opened the scoring in the 32nd minute on a goal from Dianna Calleja.
With the result, the Warriors move to 4-10-5 on the season while the Wolverines are now 9-5-5 overall.
The match was a make-up date from the original Sept. 5 matchup that was postponed due to excessive heat at SBVC.
The Warriors will close out the regular season on Thursday afternoon in the fifth-place match of the South Coast Conference Tournament when they host East Los Angeles at the ECC Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m.
