TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College recorded a 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-22) South Coast Conference victory over visiting L.A. Harbor on Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The win snapped the Warriors' four-match losing streak as Yasmine Itani and Amiekal Looney led the offense. Itani led all players with eight kills on 19 swings and added two digs while Looney chipped in with seven kills and five service aces.
Jerelyn Justo and Jasmine Zalewski each dished out 10 assists with Jordyn Garlitos (12) and Sammani Carcamo (11) pacing the defense, combining for 23 digs.
For the Seahawks, Mylah Good led the team with eight kills and Kaylee Nakagawa dished out 22 assists in the losing effort.
The Warriors will return to action on Wednesday night as they host Compton for an SCC match at 6 p.m.
