Mozian Nets Four Goals as Warriors Double Up East Los Angeles

TORRANCE, Calif. --- Sophomore Olivia Mozian scored four times as El Camino College defeated East Los Angeles, 11-6, in the South Coast Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday afternoon at the ECC Aquatics Center.
The Warriors opened up a 5-1 lead in the first half and never looked back to open conference play with the victory. The Huskies cut the deficit to 6-3 by halftime but Mozian scored three of the Warriors' four goals in the third period to essentially put the match away.
Lauren Reed and Sophia Beghin each scored two goals while Monica Sanchez, Francesca Pinillos and Alyssa Mack all added a goal apiece.
The Warriors will now head down south for four road matches in the San Diego area. They take on Southwestern and Palomar on Friday followed by San Diego Mesa and San Diego Miramar on Saturday.
